Susie Liddle
I am Uisge's General Manager, overseeing operations to deliver exceptional dining experiences. In my spare time, I love creating bespoke silver jewellery - a passion I've nurtured for over 20 years. Having grown up in a small fishing vallge on the island of Islay, I absolutely love guddling on the beach to find treasures and incorporating them into my silver pieces. It's only in the last few years that I've been able to set up my own home studio, where I bring unique designs to life.
Jodie McKenzie
Hi! I'm Jodie, a lifelong creative soul with a knack for working with my hands. From a young age, I've been crafting away, whether it's pottery, dried floral creations or installations that I have learnt from working as a wedding florist in the past. These days I'm a self taught silversmith, working from my at-home studio making one-of-a-kind pieces from sea glass found on some of Scotland's most beautiful beaches. When I'm not in my studio, you'll probably find me travelling to different corners of the world with my camera in hand, or gallivanting through Scotland's countryside with my best four legged companion, Brodie. I'm proud to be part of the Uisge Family. It's a real joy to be surrounded with people that make it feel like a second home.
Rhyanna Cole
My name is Rhyanna and I joined Uisge in September 2020. I discovered my passion for crochet through a fundraiser where I created turtle keyring, which sparked my love for crafting. Inspired by nature, I have a deep appreciation for the outdoors and enjoy supporting small businesses. In the future, I hope to find a way to work closely with animals, blending my love for nature with my career.
Sammy Robertson
For several years, I’ve found great joy in making jam, a craft that allows me to blend creativity with a love for fresh, seasonal produce. The process of selecting the ripest fruits, experimenting with flavors, and sharing the finished jars with friends and family is incredibly fulfilling. As a mother of two, this hobby offers a wonderful escape and a chance to teach my kids about the importance of home cooking and the joys of preserving. When I’m not in the kitchen, I love spending time outdoors. Whether it’s exploring local parks or going on family hikes, being in nature rejuvenates me. It’s during these moments that I often find inspiration for my next jam creation, combining the simplicity of outdoor life with the warmth of home.
