Uisge Feis 2025
Saturday 3rd May 2025 we will be hosting our first Uisge Feis. The day will see us have a BBQ, Hog Roast and Outdoor Bar as well as a local crafts market running 12 - 4 pm and live music from 1.30pm - 9pm. Free entry.
Spring Cocktails
Spring Cocktails are now available! We have the Elderflower Spritz, Cherry Blossom and the Lime Cooler (Virgin). These will be available until June.
Easter Competition
For the month of April we have a drawing competition available for the youngsters who visit us. Design the best Easter Egg for a chance to win a prize!

We are extremely excited to be working with Wild Hearth bakery – an artisan bakery based in Comrie dedicated to the world of natural sourdough.

We would like to introduce Uisge (oosh-ghe) Bar Restaurant – a family run business in the heart of the beautiful Perthshire countryside. Our location is in the village of Murthly, just 10 miles north of Perth, nestled in a quiet spot with views of Birnam Hill in the distance.
We offer a warm welcome, relaxing atmosphere and friendly, knowledgeable staff.
We use fresh local, seasonal produce wherever possible and pride ourselves in producing quality dishes at reasonable prices.
Our chefs are always happy to discuss our menu and give advice if you have dietary requirements.
At times we can have very busy spells so we would suggest booking ahead to avoid disappointment, especially at weekends.

Uisge Restaurant Wins Family Friendly Award
Uisge Bar and Restaurant in Murthly picked up the Family Outlet of the Year Award at the prestigious SLTN Awards for 2019.
Now in its 24th year, the SLTN Awards continues to represent the benchmark for excellence in Scotland’s licensed trade. In their family outlet category, they were looking for outlets that deliver a fantastic experience the whole family can enjoy – from children to grandparents.
Laura McKenzie, Owner, commented: “Ensuring that the whole family has a fantastic experience when they visit Uisge is something that is really important to us. We are really pleased to have been recognised for being family friendly.”
Uisge beat off stiff competition from Bowfield Hotel & Country Club and Francos, Glasgow to take home the trophy.
Uisge opened in 2015 and have become well established on the Perthshire restaurant scene. They have been shortlisted in the CIS Excellence Awards, have been a finalist in the Food & Drink Awards and have held a Trip Advisor Certificate of Excellence for the past four years.
